Job Description:
• Oversee the integration and ongoing management of ERP systems related to accounting and financial reporting for a company that manufactures automotive components.
• Use ERP software to monitor, document, and track all financial transactions and accounting activities, ensuring alignment with business operations and manufacturing processes.
• Leverage ERP tools to prepare and organize comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and manufacturing cost reports. Analyze these reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain and manage accounting databases within the ERP system, including financial, statistical, and auditing data. Ensure data integrity by identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Use ERP software to oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage ledgers, and forecast company revenues and expenses. Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions within the system.
• Utilize ERP systems to generate monthly compensation reports by compiling earnings, taxes, deductions, and non-taxable wages of employees, ensuring proper tax treatment and compliance.
• Inspect, upgrade, and optimize ERP accounting systems, working closely with IT departments to improve efficiency, streamline financial transactions, and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Ensure the company remains in compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying up to date on legislation and ERP system features that support legal compliance.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience in accounting roles within manufacturing or automotive industries preferred.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and legal compliance standards.
• Ability to analyze financial data and optimize ERP systems for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
