Position Title: Associate Manager – Data Engineering
Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124
Wage: $318,781
Position Responsibilities: Perform Requirement gathering and analysis with the client. Manage communication across different offshore and onshore teams. Providing time and effort estimation on the requirements. Extract, transform and load of different sets of structured and semi-structured data. Providing data warehousing solutions & debug issues related to data warehousing and business logic. Mentoring juniors and newcomers in project and providing training to freshers. Planning, development, and implementation of code in different platforms. Detailed documentation for implemented logic and coding. Evaluate changes required in existing code or setup for new user request. Review of testcases and validation of the testcases provided by IT team. Conducting knowledge transfer sessions and best practices among team. Creation and delivery of power point presentations on various client requirements and proposed solutions. Unit testing of codes and tables in Snowflake. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for different data sources, tables, and designs. Creation of lineage, and data dictionary using Enterprise Data Catalog. Code Optimization for better performance and scalability. Postproduction support like maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting data pipelines and infrastructure.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, or related field, PLUS three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: SQL; Python; Snowflake; Databricks; Azure; Pentaho; Airflow; SSIS; Azure Devops; Shell Scripting; Jira, and; Advanced Excel. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
