Job Description:
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate take-off calculations and bid proposals using AgTek software.
Lead the preparation of bids for large-scale projects, typically valued at $750,000 .
Analyze project plans, specifications, and geotechnical data to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
Collaborate with the CFO and CEO to refine pricing strategies and improve bid competitiveness.
Manage pre-bid meetings, site visits, and subcontractor/vendor negotiations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors to drive repeat and referral business.
Track historical cost data and improve accuracy in estimating systems.
Contribute to strategic growth initiatives during the company’s transformation into JFX, Inc.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in Earthwork Estimating, with a proven track record of winning large contracts.
Proficiency in AgTek software (mandatory).
Demonstrated success in preparing and closing bids exceeding $750K.
Strong technical knowledge of excavation, grading, and civil sitework.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
A network of relationships with General Contractors in Texas is a significant plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (but not required if a proven track record exists).
