Job Description:
Oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics and materials management operations within the Americas region;
Coordinate with suppliers, shippers, and internal departments to ensure seamless flow of materials and inventory;
Manage procurement, inventory control, and warehouse activities to support efficient supply chain processes;
Analyze material requirements and forecast demands to avoid shortages or excess stock;
Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction;
Handle coordination of shipments (air, sea, and land) ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and operational plans;
Utilize logistics software systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to monitor and improve workflow;
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide insights based on data analysis and KPIs;
Prepare reports and documentation related to materials management and logistics activities;
Engage in vendor negotiations and contract management related to materials sourcing and logistics services.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred;
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain operations;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems;
Excellent communication and coordination skills;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance is a plus.
