Job Description:
Linear Painting Ltd is looking for a full-time and permanent 1 Painter in Abbotsford, BC, V2S 1Y4. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 39.00/hr and 35 to 40 hours/week.
Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and high-quality finishes.
Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to painting.
Mix paints and coatings to achieve specified colors, textures, and finishes.
Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper, vinyl, and other decorative wall coverings.
Advise clients on suitable color schemes, finishes, and wall covering options.
Assemble and secure scaffolding, swing stages, and related rigging equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Estimate material quantities, labor requirements, and overall project costs to support accurate quotations and efficient job planning.
Employment Requirements:
Education:
Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience:
Relevant Experience of 1-2 years is required.
