Job Description:
Be Shine Textile Inc. has an immediate opening for a Wallpaper Hanger.
Job Duties include:
• Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required
• Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and steam cleaning; remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer
• Measure and prepare walls and surfaces for wallpaper or seamless wall fabric wallcoverings application using industry-standard tools
• Cut and trim wallpaper or fabric wallcoverings to match patterns and fit surfaces accurately
• Apply adhesives and install wallpaper or fabric in residential and commercial spaces
• Ensure proper alignment, finish, and quality control during installation
• Maintain clean and safe work sites in compliance with company and safety policies
• Communicate with clients and team members regarding project specifications
• May advise customer on selection of colour schemes and choice of wall coverings
• May provide cost estimates to clients
• Pay: $36 per hour minimum 30 hours per week
• Overtime pay as per Ontario Employment Standards

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in wallpaper or textile hanging, wall covering, or interior finishing
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent required; trade certification in a related field or a diploma in Interior Decorating is an asset
• Ability to work at heights and in various environments
• Physically capable of handling tools and equipment
