Position Title: Mental Health Therapist
Location: California City, CA (Onsite)
Salary Range: $110,000 $130,000/year (Negotiable, based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: Full package available
Sign-On Bonus: Negotiable

Work Setting: ICE Detention Center/ Correctional
Reports To: Health Services Administrator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at a correctional facility in California City, CA. In this role, you will provide clinical mental health services to incarcerated individuals, including assessments, individual treatment planning, and crisis interventions. This position plays a key role in supporting behavioral wellness and setting the standard for care within correctional healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using clinical interviews and record reviews.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
Provide counseling services and crisis interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services.
Deliver therapeutic services using evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with facility staff to support inmate mental health needs.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field.
Active licensure in California as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC or willing to obtain it. - (Required).
Minimum of 2 years of post-master's clinical experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
Must pass background and drug screening.
