Job Description:
A Cost Analyst is needed in Houston, Texas.
Collect and analyze cost factors for providing total solutions services for shipbuilding, delivery, maintenance, and various on-board services.
Evaluate operations cost and compile detailed cost estimation report by analyzing various cost factors and variances for the company.
Develop estimated service cost report by analyzing costs for providing various services such as technical service, parts service, warranty service, and power plant operations service.
Analyze cost effectiveness in providing global services to recommend changes and adjustments for reducing unnecessary cost.
Collect and analyze cost data to resolve any possible cost discrepancies.
Evaluate financial budgets and compile detailed cost estimation for management review.
Set up and develop cost monitoring and reporting systems and process to track cost spending and prepare accurate cost estimation reports.
Research suppliers and subcontractors based on price, quality, service and availability to enhance productivity in cost effective manner.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
