Job Description:
Database Report Writer is needed to perform the following duties:
• Designs, develops, and maintains complex SQL queries and reports using data from institutional databases to support business intelligence and decision-making across departments.
• Leads data migration efforts and Canvas (ILP) data loads, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely synchronization between systems.
• Manages user access and enforces data security protocols, ensuring that sensitive information is accessed only by authorized personnel in compliance with institutional policies.
• Collaborates with stakeholders including IT support, database administrators, software developers, and department leads to gather requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Builds and implements both normalized and multidimensional data models to support scalable and efficient reporting.
• Performs data validation, error resolution, and quality checks to ensure accuracy in reporting and support data-driven decision-making.
• Trains staff on query development and reporting tools and develops documentation to support ongoing training and system use.
• Communicates complex data insights clearly through reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems or Information Technology
