Job Title: Personal Support Worker (Permanent, Part-Time/Full-Time)

Pay Rate: $22.05 per hour
Hours: 15 to 40 hours per week

Job Description:
As a PSW at Royal Oak Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents. Your duties will include assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical support to assist residents to perform daily living activities, such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising
• Assist residents with their meals, including serving food and feeding as necessary
• Help residents with their medication at the scheduled times under the supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, changing beds, laundry, etc.
• Encourage social participation and engagement in activities
• Report any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
• Secondary school completion
• No experience required – will train
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and caring nature
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
• Must be physically capable of performing repetitive tasks
• Current First Aid Certificate
