Job Description:
Sicamous Investments Ltd, based at 517 Main Street, Sicamous, BC, is currently seeking one full-time, permanent Motel Manager.
Job Duties:
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day motel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
• Oversee motel budgets, control expenses, and prepare financial reports.
• Establish operational policies and procedures.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members (front desk clerks, housekeeping, maintenance personnel, etc.).
• Monitor employee performance and administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Resolve staff and customer issues and complaints in a professional manner.
• Generate and submit performance reports to owners or corporate management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations, including those related to health, safety, labor, and fire codes.

Employment Requirements:
• Education: A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or a related discipline is typically required.
• Experience: 1–2 years of management experience is required.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required.
Benefits
As per BC Employment Standards Act, 10 days paid vacation annually or 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each period. Overtime rate is applicable after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
