We're looking for a seasoned professional who can facilitate cross functional stakeholder working sessions, focus groups, and trainings with a proven track record gaining alignment between multiple groups through understanding and documentation of process. As Lead Process Engineer you will identify gaps and inefficiencies in processes to recommend process improvements to senior leadership, and drive process improvements from your work.
Similar to an internal consultant but with a thorough knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), the Lead Process Engineer will draw clarity from complexity and communicate it effectively to all levels of the organization. Coordinating and collaborating with project managers, operational staff, people managers, and analysts to ensure alignment of changes to processes from a people, process & technology perspective.
Responsibilities: • Lead cross-functional business process improvement efforts that affect groups across the company • Lead development of documentation and complex analysis of as-is and to-be business processes • Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results • Identifies solutions to process gaps or risks to leadership to reduce opportunities for process failure • Defines highly complex business requirements and provides analysis toward operational efficiency and drives change within the organization • Provides input for strategic designs and key performance indicators to better align and measures business unit goals and objectives • Provides operational readiness support, including process-centric training related to system capabilities used in the operations of a business process, through content development and co-facilitation • Leads impacted business areas through alignment of accountabilities and implementation of future state process through collaboration and influence
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Advance degree preferred. • 8 - 10 years professional work experience with Bachelor's degree, 6 years with Master's degree • 5+ years relevant professional experience in process analysis, change management, and project management with a pattern of exceptional performance • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communications skills, with the ability to clearly communicate recommendations, vision, and complex subjects • Extensive experience creating both "As Is" and "To Be" process modeling in Visio or similar tools. Experience with ProVision a plus. • Use a defined process to determine existing gaps, requirements to close those gaps, and in order to measure progress of the operational transition • Experience in creating operational impact views between the current and future state processes. Ability to analyze and provide recommendations. • Demonstrated experience leading and driving business process re-engineering efforts using data-driven techniques • Demonstrated experience applying key performance indicators to control business processes • Ability to quickly learn and apply new methodologies, products, systems, applications and technologies • Apply to guide others through problem solving from their perspective and environment • Demonstrated experience leading groups through change • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
Ideal Qualifications: • Six Sigma or Lean certification - Highly Preferred • Experience with technical writing • Knowledge of system development concepts and principles, programming structures and models and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
