Job Description:
Job Position: Janitor
Location: 373 Botsford St, Newmarket, ON L3Y 1S7
Wage: $36.00 hourly for 15 to 30 hours per week
Term: Permanent, Part-time or Full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible, 2 vacancies
Job Responsibilities:
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform safety and security checks
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

• No experience required; will train
• Initiative, organized and reliable
• Must be able to work during the evening and night, and on Saturday on a regular basis.
