Job Position: Janitor
Location: 9901 Leslie St, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3Y3
Wage: $36.00 hourly for 15 to 30 hours per week
Term: Permanent, Part-time or Full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible, 2 vacancies
Company Overview:
Victoria Education Centre offers children from the Toddler to the School-age level the learning experience of a lifetime and helps each child reach their true potential. We provide progressive teaching methods, sound curriculum developmental strategies, and effective classroom management styles, all working in unison to help challenge students toward reaching these objectives. We are looking for a Janitor to join our team at Richmond Hill location.
Job Responsibilities:
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform safety and security checks
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

• Initiative, organized and reliable
• Must be able to work during the evening and night on a regular basis.
