Job Description:
Groweal Professional Business Services specializes in providing marketing and business development consulting services in the hospitality industry, HR & Payroll service, digital transformation & innovation consulting, corporate immigration service, and advisory service for selling and buying businesses. We are now seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to enhance our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of the companys comprehensive service. The successful candidate will be tasked with:
Review, evaluate, and implement administrative procedures and workflows to optimize organizational efficiency. Establish and coordinate administrative policies and procedures to ensure effective day-to-day operations. Maintain and manage physical and electronic records, ensuring secure handling of contracts and confidential client information. Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, proposals, presentations, and other business documents for internal and external use. Manage information requests and inquiries, screen incoming calls and emails, and redirect them appropriately. Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and maintaining administrative records for accounting support. Compile data and prepare periodic administrative and operational reports as requested by management. Co-ordinate and plan for services such as equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, and maintenance services Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls Plan and control budget and expenditures
Job Requirements: Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. At least 1 year experience in a similar role. Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and electronic document management systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment. Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks.
