Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Center of Excellence for Data & Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, expertise in technical documentation and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish best practices, drive data governance, support data-driven decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

 

This position is expected to be hybrid.

 

NYC Salary Range - $97,009 - $125,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

  • Collaborate with various data management team, business units, data analysts, data engineers, and product managers to gather requirements, reduce silos and optimize collaborations.
  • Create documents for policy and procedures, guides, toolkits, roadmaps that are in line with the company’s data strategy.
  • Schedule frequent meetings with various stakeholders with defined cadence to progress on company’s data strategy and vision.
  • Document milestones and create project plans in accordance with the team’s roadmap.
  • Design and develop dashboards and KPIs in Tableau/Power BI and tell a story based on insights from data.
  • Resolve data quality issues, dashboard performance issues, and database performance issues.
  • Evaluate, design, propose, and secure approval for all design and implementation.
  • Follow the organization’s data protection and network securities and antivirus policies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, and attend training, conferences, and seminars according to organization’s business requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3 years of experience in Data Analysis & Technical Documentation
  • 3 years of strong working knowledge in Tableau or Power BI
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in using SQL
  • 1 year of experience in story telling with data
  • Strong working knowledge in Tableau advance topics such as Level of Detail Expressions, Table Calculations, Accelerators, Bin and GraphiQL
  • Experience of Tableau Pulse to manipulate data.
  • Hands-on experience in documenting data flows, data sources, policies & procedures
