Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will guide prospective borrowers through the loan application process, assess financial profiles, and help them secure the right mortgage product for their needs. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compliant loan process.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate loan applications and analyze credit reports to determine eligibility.
Assist clients in understanding various mortgage products and choosing the best option for their financial situation.
Guide applicants through the documentation process and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
Maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state lending regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral partners.
Monitor loan progress from application through closing to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role within the mortgage lending industry.
In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending practices, and relevant regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Possession of all necessary state licensing for mortgage lending in California.
