Job Description:
Dry Link Construction Ltd. located in Surrey; BC is currently hiring 3 full-time Drywall Installers to work with their growing team. The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to work as a team.
Position Details:

Position: Drywall Installer
Number of positions: 3
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $27.50 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations(s): Surrey, BC and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the companys contracts with its clients.
Job duties:
Measure cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
Set up and install drywall sheets to wooden or metal studs.
Organize work procedures for installation and removal.
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
Tape the joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound.
Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
Follow all the safety procedures on the work site.
Job requirements:
Completion of secondary school required.
Completion of an Apprenticeship program in the trade or a Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar trade is required.
Effective communication skills.
