Job Description:
Permanent Position: Construction helper (NOC # 75110)
Company: Desh Panjab Tiles Ltd.
Vacancies: 01
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Main Location: 12955 73 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia, V3W 7R2
Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations as per company contracts.
Wage Rate: $28.85 Hourly, for 30-40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Overtime, Weekend
Education: No education required
Experience: No experience required. Training will be provided
Languages: Basic English is required
Job Duties:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Assist Tile setters and help them in moving equipment and aid in other activities.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• Operating and handling the tools and equipment with safety.
• May perform other duties as requested.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy, loads, Overtime if required.
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Personal suitability: Team player, Client focus, Flexibility, Reliability.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Visible minorities and Youth.
