Permanent Position: Drywall Installer & Finisher (NOC 73102)

Start Date: As soon as possible
Main Location: Airdrie, Calgary, AB
Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Calgary Region as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $35.40 per hour (35-40 hours per week)
Education: Completion of High School
Experience: 2-3 years of experience
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Measure, fit, cut and install drywall sheets
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Apply successive coats using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Position and secure sheets to metal and wooden studs
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
