Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
Experience: Work experience as an industrial sewing machine operator supervisor for 1 year or more is required.
Specific Skills/Job Duties: Co-ordinate work activities with other departments; Establish methods to meet work schedules; Establish work schedules; Prepare production and other reports; Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality; Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies; Set up machines and equipment; Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers; Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Supervision: 3-4 people, Sewing machine operators
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye-co-ordination, Repetitive Tasks, Handling heavy loads
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
