Job Description:
Job Title: General Manager
No of Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Overtime, Weekend if required)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.
Business Address: 4-464 Fraser view PL Delta, British Columbia V3M 6H4 Canada (Candidates will be working at various locations across Canada)
Wage rate: $51.50 per hour, for 37.5 hours per week
Education: High School is required. (Managerial course or diploma or degree will be an asset)
Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
Languages: Good and fluent English is required
Responsibilities
Authorize and organize the activities of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
Oversight of all personnel development activities to include: overall human resources planning, financials and budget planning, and promotion of team members.
Conducts systems and process planning as it relates to budget forecasting, organization, personnel development, and marketing strategies.
Monitors data of ongoing service, maintenance and training activities to identify, evaluate, and improve performance. Creates reporting and analysis to improve overall performance.
Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Functions as a tactful communicator and motivator that identifies problem solving and resolution matters associated with the overall safety and well-being of the companys operations and service.
