Position: Financial Controller
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $106,500 per annum, 35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities
As the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the River View Hotel. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop financial strategies, conduct financial analysis, and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
Prepare annual budgets and project budges, forecasts, and financial projections, ensuring alignment with the hotel's strategic goals.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and enhance the accuracy of financial information.
Monitor and manage the hotel's cash flow, ensuring liquidity and optimal use of financial resources.
Ensure compliance with local, territorial, and federal financial regulations and standards.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activities, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
