Job Description:
We, A1 Granite & Marble Ltd., are looking for passionate candidates for the position of full-time Kitchen Cabinet Installers!
Position: Kitchen cabinet installer (NOC 73200)
Vacancies: 2
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day, To be determined.
Hourly Wage: $26.25 - 28.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 10758 74 St SE, Calgary, AB T2C 5N6
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Install, assemble, and secure cabinets, countertops, and custom millwork in residential and commercial spaces.
Measure and mark installation areas according to blueprints, layouts, and specifications.
Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit materials such as wood, laminate, and other construction materials.
Adjust and align cabinets and fixtures to ensure proper fit and level installation.
Secure cabinets and components using screws, nails, and adhesives.
Perform finishing touches such as sanding, trimming, and sealing.
Collaborate with clients and contractors to meet design and functional requirements.
Inspect finished installations to ensure quality and accuracy.
Repair or replace damaged or worn cabinets as needed.
Communicate with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Completion of high school education
7-12 months of work experience related to installing or repairing field
Physical capability of performing duties
Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus
A drivers license is required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding
