Position: 2 Butcher Helper (NOC 65202)
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Wage: $22.50 per hour

Stephen C BBQ Food Ltd. is a well-known and thriving business in Saskatoon, celebrated for our high-quality meats and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Butcher Helper to join our team and assist in preparing the finest cuts of meat for our customers.
Job Description:
As a Butcher Helper, you will work closely with our butchers to ensure the efficient preparation and handling of meat products. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting butchers in cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products.
• Grinding meat and preparing sausages or other specialty meat items.
• Wrapping, weighing, and labeling meat products for display or storage.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the work area, including equipment and tools.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment safely.
Job Requirements:
• No formal education required; training will be provided on the job.
• Previous experience in a butchery or meat processing environment is an asset but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
