Overtime: As per provincial standards - $37.50 after 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week

Requirements:
Education: Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
Experience: On-the-job training provided
Job Duties:
Receive prescriptions from patients and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
Prepare, measure, and compound medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Package and label medications, as well as maintain proper storage conditions.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
Process prescriptions by entering patient information and prescription details into the computer system.
Assist patients with medication-related inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
Maintain patient profiles, including medication history and relevant health information.
Process insurance claims, ensuring accuracy in billing and reimbursement procedures.
Ensure a smooth workflow by preparing and maintaining pharmacy schedule.
Adhere to pharmacy regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
