ABOUT THE POSITION
Due to the ongoing expansion of our operations, we are currently looking to hire a Window and Door Installer. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, goal-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
Work with various hand and power cutting tools to install, repair and service interior and exterior doors and windows
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms, as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Secondary school diploma
At least 7 months of residential or commercial installation experience, preferably in the installation of windows or doors
Familiarity with workplace safety as well as safe lifting and handling procedures
Good English skills
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Permanent, full-time position
$34.25 per hour for 30 hours of work per week
Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
