Job Description:
Westland Immigration Visa Services Inc. Located in Surrey, BC is looking for a suitable person for the position of Manager - marketing services for our Surrey BC Office. The applicant should have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience along with 2-3 years of experience.
The applicant should be responsible for the following job duties and tasks as part of this job.
• Develop promotional materials
• Manage contracts
• Market business services
• Plan and control budget and expenditures
• Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials
• Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs
• Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations
• Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations
• Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services
• Answer written and oral inquiries
• Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
• Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
• Initiate and maintain contact with the media
• Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts
• Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
We pay competitive wages $54.36 to $60.00 hourly and 40 hours/week as per experience.
