Job Description:
Job Title: Software Tester
Location: #1510-1075 W Georgia St, Vancouver BC V6E 3C9
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Software Tester to join our development team. This role will involve both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development and design teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and document well-structured test cases and comprehensive test plans.
Identify, report, track, and provide effective solutions for software and system defects impacting business workflows.
Create and implement software and information system testing policies, test scripts, and procedures.
Configure operating systems and install necessary software and hardware to prepare for testing.
Execute, analyze, and document test results for both web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with the development team to review test results, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolutions.
Work closely with the design team to align system functionality with the system design flow.
Discuss identified bugs with the project/product manager and prioritize them based on business needs.
Prepare, review, and approve testing documentation before each release to production.
Compensation & Benefit:
Wage: $34.67 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Benefit: Medical and dental benefits
Language requirements: English
Job Requirements:
Completion of a post-secondary program in computer science, computer programming, network administration or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
Familiarity with the .NET framework and C#.
Experience with testing tools and methodologies.
Experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking software is an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
