Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team. The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the procurement process, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our purchasing department and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Duties:
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
- Communicate with vendors to resolve issues or discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met
- Generate reports on purchasing activities as needed

Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Clerk or in a similar role
- Familiarity with procurement processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
Skills:
- Required Skills: Procurement, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Data Entry, Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management
- Nice-to-have Skills: SAP or other ERP systems experience
