Job Description:
Cable Installation and Repair Helper
Deallight Security Ltd., located at 31760 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC V2T 1T9, is looking to hire a Cable Installation and Repair Helper. We are offering full-time, year-round work.
The right candidate will perform the following duties:
Load, unload and move tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to the worksite
Assist electricians in installing and repairing security alarm systems, CCTV/DVR systems, cable and telephone wiring, etc., and other activities at the job site.
Hand over tools and supplies to an electrician as required.
Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using power tools.
Clean work areas
Familiar with electrical general safety standards
Ability to prior work and schedule tasks according to the jobs requirements
Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
No specific education is required
No experience is required but previous related experience is an asset; training will provided to the right candidate.
Must have a flexible schedule
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
Excellent organizational skills are a must. Ability to communicate in basic English
Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without constant supervision.
We are offering $ 23.25/hr based on 40 hours per week.
