West Langley Animal Hospital in Langley Twp, BC provides veterinary care to animals. We provide a very warm and friendly environment for pets. Our team makes sure that the pets always get the highest level of care. We are committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Our services include routine preventive care, a surgical procedure, dentistry and radiology.
Currently, we are hiring for a full-time and permanent Veterinarian for our clinic. The candidate must be a team player who is friendly, patient, and enthusiastic with clients and their pets and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. It is essential that they possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, have great attention to detail, and can multitask.
Position Details:

Wages: $60 - $65 per hour/ 30-40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:
• Diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds and flocks through physical examinations or laboratory tests.
• Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds or performing surgery.
• Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases.
• Perform routine, emergency and post-mortem examinations.
• Advise clients on feeding, housing, behaviour, breeding, hygiene and general care of animals.
• Provide a range of veterinary services including obstetrics, dentistry and euthanasia.
• Responsible for the overall operation of the animal hospital.
• Supervise animal health technologists and animal care workers.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
• Applicant must be fluent in English.
• Applicant must be ethical, reliable, and have efficient interpersonal skills.
