NOC Group: Welders and related machine operators (72106)
Positions Available: 1
Job Location: 2728 Pacific Street Smithers, BC & various remote locations in British Columbia.

Employment Terms: Seasonal
Education: College CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than a 1 year or equivalent experience
Start Date of Employment (approx.): May 1, 2025
Skills Requirements:
• Standard First Aid with CPR C with Transportation Endorsement
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on U5 and Hydrocore drills
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on drill tooling
• Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
Wages and Benefits:
• Driller wage: $32.00/hour
• Travel Expenses paid by employer.
• Extended health & dental care
• 28/14 - schedule
Job Requirements:
Job Duties:
NOC 72106 Welders and related machine operators
o Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
o Operate brazing and soldering equipment
o Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
o Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
o Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
o Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding.
