Job Description:
The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for administering anesthesia and pain relief techniques to patients undergoing interventional pain management procedures. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of pain specialists, ensuring the safe and effective management of patient pain before, during, and after procedures.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and sedation for interventional pain management procedures.
Collaborate with pain specialists to create personalized treatment plans.
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Provide consultation and management for patients requiring complex pain relief.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Adhere to best practices in anesthesia safety and patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications:
MD or equivalent medical degree.
Board certification in Anesthesiology.
Valid license to practice medicine in Ontario. (CPSO)
Experience in interventional pain management is an asset.
Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques, sedation protocols, and patient monitoring.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Dedication to patient-centered care and safety.
