Job Description:
POSITION TITLE: HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic

MAIN JOB DUTIES
Measure and lay out reference points for installation
Prepare tenders and quotations
Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
Provide customer service
Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
Handle, recover and store refrigerants
Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
OTHER REQUIREMENTS, PERSONAL SUITABILITY, WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

OTHER INFORMATION
Work Experience Required: 1 year to 2 years experience
Minimum Education Required: Trade Certificate or Diploma
Language: English workplace language
Wage Range: $50.00 per hour
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Overtime: Hours over 8 per day/40 per week
