COMPANY OVERVIEW:
“iControls®” in Richmond Hill is now hiring a full time and permanent “Electronic service technicians” to join our business. Our company has dedicated over a decade to specializing in the design and manufacture of sophisticated door operators and traffic light solutions. Serving the industrial and commercial loading dock and door industries, our focus has been on driving innovation and leveraging state-of-the-art technology to enhance operational efficiency and ensure reliability in material handling processes.
JOB TITLE: Electronic Service Technician
LOCATION: 35 East Beaver Creek Road, Unit 1, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B1B3, Canada (1 Vacancy)
JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $26.00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 40 hours/week
WORK SETTING: Manufacturing
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Evaluate and assess electronic systems, components, and assemblies using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot the issues when required.
• Set up, service, and fix electronic devices for commercial settings, including door operators and related peripherals.
• Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools by following technical manuals and schematics.
• Use necessary hand and power tools, and mechanical, electrical and electronic gauging devices, instruments, test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Digital multimeter, and other related equipment when required.
• Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including work orders, test results, and maintenance records.
• Oversee and mentor other technicians specializing in electronic equipment services.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Completion of the college program in electronics or completion of high school with experience in related field.
• Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience strongly preferred
• Effectively English communicate orally and in writing.
• May be physically demanding and may require: Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended period
• Should be able to work under pressure; fast paced environment, flexibility, client focus, reliability, organized, team player and accurate
• Excellent organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
