Job Description:
Wilton Cheese, a division of A.M. Jensen Limited, is a family-run business operating in Eastern Ontario with a second location in Southwestern Ontario that operates under the name of Jensen Cheese. The Jensen family takes pride in offering quality artisanal products and friendly services since 1925.
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) coordinator to join our team for a full-time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
• Coordinate and oversee the tasks of employees engaged in processing, packaging, testing, and grading food and beverage products.
• Establish methods to achieve operational schedules and synchronize activities with various departments.
• Address operational challenges and propose enhancements to enhance productivity and product standards.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Conduct training sessions to educate staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
• Recommend personnel decisions such as recruitment and advancement.
• Compile and generate reports on production and related activities.
Position Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• HACCP certification
• 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance of food production
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization
• Good English language skills
Terms & Conditions:
• Permanent, full-time employment - 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $33.00 per hour. An overtime rate of $49.50 per hour will apply after 44 hours of work per week.
