Key Qualifications:
We are seeking a finance expert with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in DoD government contracting. As the Director of Finance, you'll guide company leadership with robust financial insights and lead a dedicated financial team, ensuring top-notch management of accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
Shape financial strategy by leading in-depth financial analysis (value chain, modeling, ROI, cash flow) to support business leaders and drive strategic decisions.
Take charge of forecasting and business analytics, ensuring accurate predictions of volume and revenue.
Dive into results, recommend performance-improving actions, and develop solutions to achieve business goals.
Keep a pulse on external performance to inform key decisions, all while maintaining a customer-focused financial management approach.
Communicate your findings effectively, providing insights into implications, risks, and opportunities.
Present expert analyses using sophisticated financial models and measures.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. CPA preferred.
7+ years of senior-level financial experience.
Mastery of Annual Business Planning and strategic thinking.
Strong expertise in P&L management, revenue growth, and forecasting within DoD-related business lines.
Ability to evaluate business goals and analyze financials to provide actionable insights.
Robust change management skills with a knack for innovative business solutions.
Deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Proven experience in Defense contracting with compliance knowledge of CAS, FAR, and DCAA.
Familiarity with ERP software, particularly DELTEK COSTPOINT.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
