They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) to join their executive team. This role is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving financial excellence.
Position Overview:
The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring all financial processes are efficient and effective. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry and a proven track record of managing remote teams. The VP of Finance will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to implement strategies that enhance financial productivity, profitability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives and drive continuous improvement.
● Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
● Manage remote teams across various departments to ensure seamless financial operations and effective communication.
● Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to set and achieve short-term and long-term financial goals.
● Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
● Ensure compliance with industry regulations, financial standards, and company policies.
● Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the finance organization.
● Drive cost optimization initiatives to improve financial efficiency and profitability.
● Lead and mentor finance department heads to enhance their leadership capabilities and performance.
● Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
● CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
● Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in the banking or financial services industry.
● Proven track record of successfully managing remote teams and driving financial excellence.
● Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to think strategically and execute financial plans effectively.
● Experience with financial management software and tools.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, remote work environment and manage multiple priorities.
