Marsers Consultancy Corporation has immediate opening for a Financial Services Representative (TEER: 63102) at our location in Hamilton, Ontario.
As a Financial Services Representative (TEER: 63102), you will perform some or all the following duties:
• Ensure optimum servicing to our existing applicant base by promptly and accurately responding to customer inquiries on complex multiple inquiries
• Encourage the selling of products and services related to deposits, investments, credit, and loans.
• Capitalize on phone-based revenue generation opportunities cross-selling opportunities with particular attention on business retention and revenue generation
• Help clients by offering answers to financial problems such business growth, debt management, investment, and other financial objectives
• Manage outbound follow-up to new and existing applicants via telephone and email
• Examine and research the financial standing, credit history, references, and repayment capacity of loan applicants.
• Examine and update loan and credit files.
• Create statements for past-due accounts and send unresolvable accounts to collection agencies for action.
• Complete credit and loan documentation
• Submit credit and loan applications with recommendations for approval or denial to the branch or credit manager; alternatively, approve or reject applications within the approved parameters while adhering to the institution's credit criteria
• Serve as a shared custodian for money and assets.
• Handle cash transactions
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop and continuously improve the business unit
• Responsible for achieving and maintaining sales targets
Qualifications:
• Financial services officers who sell regulated financial products and investments are required to be licensed by the appropriate governing body.
• Completion of secondary school and extensive general finance experience is usually required.
• Experience in finance, accounting is asset.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 27.50 /hour
