Job Description: Agilis Chemicals Inc. (dba Agilis Commerce), Newark, NJ.
• Leverage chemical industry experience and knowledge to serve as Subject Matter Expert on workflows of the industry to technically lead team of Product Managers to support the development of Agilis suite of products, including PIM (Product Information Management System), e-commerce and product information portals, TradeX. • Support Sales and Marketing teams by providing tools, collateral, and product knowledge to communicate the value proposition of Agilis’ solutions in the chemical sector. • Impart training and mentorship to team of Product Managers and software engineers about the workflows and business processes of chemical industry. • Guide team of Product Managers in creating and analyzing technical specifications of products and features, and provide support to software engineers and customer service team using database management software systems. • Technically lead the UI/UX development; establish best practices and help product managers develop UI/UX using tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, and Figma. •Develop product vision and lead the product lifecycle management, drive end-to-end product development from concept to launch, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the product for clients. • Create and manage a strategic product roadmap with the Engineering and Product teams for digital solutions, including PIM, TradeX, and e-commerce/product information portals. • Define, prioritize, and launch new product features and enhancements through in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor analysis, customer feedback, and unique business priorities within the chemical and allied industries. • Develop, communicate, and execute strategic product initiatives and projects based on a deep understanding of the chemical industry, creating digital solutions tailored to its nuances and aligning with the company's overall goals. • Support Engineering and Product team in the planning of development sprints using Agile methodology. • Serve as the technical Lead for Product Managers and provide support for execution of complex enterprise client projects to implement Agilis suite of products using tools including Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, and Asana. • Train new Product & Customer Success team employees about the Agilis products and how to implement products for customers to buy/sell chemicals using workflows customized for the chemical industry. • Serve as the Agilis Product Expert and train clients on how to use the Agilis products for maximum benefits to their chemical business. • Monitor product performance and set up processes for effective software defects reporting and resolution with the software engineering team using tools including Gitlab and Atlassian Jira. • Serve as a product expert for new customer projects, crystallize business requirements, and propose effective solutions to address their challenges. • Host webinars and workshops on industry trends, Agilis product updates, and best practices within the chemical industry, and how Agilis products can support the needs of chemical industry. • Provide training and mentorship to product managers, imparting industry-specific knowledge and ensuring a cohesive and collaborative approach to achieving product development and marketing objectives. • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions, driving continuous product improvements that directly address evolving needs in the chemical industry. • Communicate product updates, milestones, and critical insights to stakeholders effectively, demonstrating a keen understanding of the chemical industry. • Author thought-leadership content on IT projects for sales and marketing in chemical industry, including blogs and articles, positioning the company as an industry authority and contributing to the education of the chemical community. • Provide leadership in coordinating and overseeing the activities of Product Managers. • Other similar duties as assigned

Job Requirements: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 4 years of experience in the job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 6 years of experience in the Job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Experience must be in development of software products in the chemical industry and to include: Lifecycle management of products; Preparing customized workflows for chemical industry clients; Analyzing technical specifications of products & features; Analyzing the development sprints using Agile Methodology; Preparing project status reports; Monitoring and tracking project milestones and deliverables; Monitoring build, testing and release of product; Troubleshooting errors using Apache Cassandra and PostgreSQL; Developing portals for customers to buy/sell chemicals using workflows customized for the chemical industry; Performing UI/UX development; and using MySQL, Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, and Asana.
