We’re seeking a future team member for the role of a Vice President, Technology Control Management to join our Enterprise Controls Hub. This role is based in our Pittsburgh office on a hybrid 3-day in office model.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
The role will be supporting the delivery of Control Dashboards & Analytics products & services with the ability to provide multiple perspectives to support our global business (e.g. Line of business, Regional, Legal Entity, Business Services).
The high-level roles and responsibilities would include:
Consults with stakeholders across global and regional groups to understand the Risk Reporting requirements that drive the design of dashboards and reporting solutions Develops and maintains Risk Reports and Dashboards. Be a subject matter expert on data visualization, new techniques in data processing and analytics, and best practices. Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of team's processes through ongoing initiatives including: solutions to automate, building efficiencies, and maintaining consistency and accuracy of data across multiple dashboards.
Job Requirements: To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
The candidate must be able to work across global and regional groups and communicate Risk Reports and Dashboards related matters effectively to their senior management.
Expertise in developing dashboards using BI Tools such as Power BI/Tableau and hands on development experience on these tools. Data analysis experience required. Strong understanding and experience in Risk is preferred. Data visualization and development, including advanced calculations and interactive dashboards. Performing queries, extracting and joining data, and loading data using SQL and/or other query languages required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. Experience working in Agile environment preferred. Knowledge of relational databases and database design. AI and analytics-based issue recognition via data-mining, textual analysis, external events, and regulatory factors. Working with streaming data and unstructured data from multiple data sources. Risk Knowledge:
Awareness of various types of Enterprise Risks incl. Security, Technology, Operations, Resilience, Vendor risk, etc. Background in KRI (Key risk indicators) and Metrics analysis preferred. CRISC, CISA or similar certifications are preferred General skills:
Critical thinking and problem solving. Optimizing the user experience. Ability to translate complex data into user-friendly information. Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions. Ability to implement and use new technology and work processes to enhance decision-making. Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills Ability to build, establish, and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate within the team and stakeholders At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
