Description:




Position Summary : Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources & Employee Relations, the HR Operations Manager is an integral part of the Employee Relations team that supports HR and the business in a strategic and hands-on role, which will assist in creating a high-performing organization. The role entails delivering on project initiatives, providing great internal client support, driving HR functional excellence, focusing on continuous process improvement and handling ER administration. This role partners with HR team members and leaders across the business to optimize our people programs through the creation of metrics, reporting and best practice processes, while leading through influence to make improvements happen within our large, complex organization. It is a multi-disciplinary position that requires project management skills, human resources experience, appreciation and understanding for technology and the ability to use data to inform business decisions.


Specific Responsibilities Include:


The core responsibilities fall into three distinct areas:

Employee Relations Process Improvement & Managing Data (Metrics)

• Develop and modify process improvement workflows for key ER processes on an on-going basis (such as Reductions In Force, Executive Separation Process and Immigration)

• Summarize and translate report data into organized and useable/actionable content to drive strategic decision making (such as case management data and exit interview trends/insights). Sharing these insights with the relevant HR stakeholders and Business Leaders.

• Streamline and process improve various reports (including compliance related training), where possible, for distribution on an ongoing basis, while delivering insight instead of just delivering reports.

• Create dashboards for ER Consultants to use as part of their on-going dialogue with clients and using that data to drive business decisions.

Employee Relations Initiatives


• Partner with our immigration counsel to develop and roll out an immigration policy and any associated training

• Maintain and update the Employee Relations page on our company intranet site (SharePoint)

• Project manage our Employee Relations roadmap to ensure the ER team is on track to deliver on critical ER initiatives

• In conjunction with the rest of the ER team, take on new or ad hoc projects, as necessary


Employee Relations Administration/Support


- Provide guidance to people leaders requesting immigration sponsorship for new hires and current employees, gather appropriate information and documents for sponsorship, ensure accuracy of information submitted to outside immigration legal counsel, coordinate the signing of appropriate documents, and function as the institutional representative in all aspects of the permanent residency sponsorship process.

-Manage and administer/support the end to end Reduction In Force process across the enterprise, including but not limited to preparing paperwork and notification packets, keying in employee data into Workday, generating reports and maintaining RIF related files/folders.

-Partner with our GBS (Global Services Team) to ensure any ER related and ad hoc invoices are paid in a timely manner through our invoicing system (Puridiom)







Qualifications:




Minimum Education & Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree required

• 5+ years of relevant program/project management and human resources experience

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and programs

• Ability to work collaboratively to ensure HR initiatives are delivered

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
