Job Duties:
1.Collecting, organizing, and managing data related to heritage sites, artifacts, and geomatics; creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for database systems, including configurations, processes, and procedures. 2.Integrating historical and cultural data with geospatial information; managing databases that contain heritage site records, artifact details, and related metadata. 3.Planning and executing data migration projects involving heritage and geospatial data; developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources. 4.Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure high data quality; conducting regular audits of data to identify and rectify discrepancies. 5.Designing and developing databases that support heritage and geomatics projects; creating data models, schema designs, and entity-relationship diagrams specific to heritage and geospatial data. 6.Optimizing database performance, including query optimization and indexing; monitoring database systems and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. 7.Ensuring that data management practices comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to heritage and geomatics. 8.Keeping up-to-date with advancements in GIS technologies and heritage data management practices.
Job Requirements: Qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree or college program in computer science, computer engineering or a related field. 2. 2-3 years experience in related field. 3. Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). 4. Knowledge of data modeling, database design principles, and data warehousing concepts. 5. Understanding of data security and compliance standards. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
