Job Description:
We are seeking a Property Administrator to manage rental properties, rental operations and ensure excellent customer service.
Duties:
· Administer and manage rental properties.
· Rent and lease properties on behalf of property owners.
· Coordinate repairs and renovations, monitoring their progress and cost.
· Inspect properties regularly.
· Maintain records on building functions, owners, and tenants.
· Deal with tenant issues, and manage damage deposits.
· Meet with clients, provide building updates.
· Set up contracts for cleaning, maintenance, and security.
· Negotiate lease and contracts.
· Advertise and market vacant spaces.
· Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses.
· Track operating expenses and income.
· Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities.
Review rents regularly, update market knowledge and stay up to date on property-related law.
Job Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
· At least 1 year of proven work experience in property administration or a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of property management practices and local regulations.
· Excellent negotiation, and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Expected Hours: 30 h/w
