Job Description:
Byson Engineering Inc. is seeking a F/T Drafting Technician
Position Info:
• Position: Drafting Technician
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $30.19~$33.19/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 1450-707 7th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T2P 3H6
Benefits:
• 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Create engineering drawings, plans, diagrams or layouts based on sketches
• Handle a conventional drafting station or use computer-assisted drafting equipment
• May assist in developing and preparing design sketches
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors
• Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
• Write technical reports
• Create estimates for materials, costs, and construction specifications
Job requirements:
• Experience: 2~3 years of drafting experience is required
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Drafting is required
• Language: English
