Job Description:
Stockyard Meat Products is a wholesale meat company that specializes in supplying Caribbean-style foods. Our products include Oxtail, Goat, Chicken and other specialized products. Our processing facility is provincially inspected, ensuring that all our products are produced and distributed in a safe and hygienic manner.
We are looking for a skilled Butcher to provide high-quality meats and services to our customers.
Job Duties:
Cut, debone, and trim the meat into pieces according to internal requirements.
Use saws, power-cutting tools and different knives.
Cleans, weighs, packages and labels meat for sale.
Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary station according to the food safety department.
Orders and monitors meat stock.
Participates in meetings with supervisors or managers as requested.
Job Requirements:
Completion of High School (Preferred);
Over one year of experience in a work-related environment;
Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods;
Attention to detail and working well with others;
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
