Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for software development, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Wage: 53.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Overtime Wage: 79.50 hourly, for any hour worked more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Location: 2nd Floor, 1824 Store St, Victoria, BC
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
- Experience with web development frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with database management systems and version control tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app development.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
