Job Description:
Machining Applications Engineer Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineer CNC Programming Machine Tools Methods Development Tooling Configuration Machine Shop Mills Lathes Machining Centers _ .
Manufacturer of machining center production line equipment for automotive power train parts manufacturers seeks an Engineer to lead, coordinate, and hands-on design and layout new and improved manufacturing production lines using robotic transfer and highly automated machining centers including multi-axis turning and milling machine tools.
Must have track record: determining the optimal sequence of machining; sourcing tooling; retrofitting machining centers; designing new machines; and programming.
Shall:
*** Conduct the analysis of current manufacturing machining operations at client sites.
*** Recommend production equipment relocations, retrofits and replacement.
*** Develop new and modify existing tooling, machinery and processes to gain production improvements.
*** Prepare operational standards for manufacturing operations.
Equipment Involved:
*** Robotic extractors, deburrers; transferers, etc.
*** Machining Centers including CNC multi axis turning centers, mills, grinders and lathes.
