Job Description:
Luminocity Inc. in Hicksville, New York is seeking a full-time Operations Research Analyst.
The job responsibilities include collecting and organizing data from a variety of sources, such as Luminocity’s sales histories, surveys, social media, and ticketing platform to identify areas where the organization can improve efficiency and attendee experience, reduce costs, and increase revenue. Conducting research on Luminocity's operations and business, including venue selection and optimization, ticket pricing and revenue analysis, transportation planning, financial analysis, and attendee experience analysis, and providing insights to support decision-making. Establishing parameters, factors, and requirements for data to be gathered; reviewing, verifying and validating collected data through statistical testing and independent judgment. Using statistical analysis or simulations to analyze the data to identify Luminocity’s operational problems, develop methods to analyze the problem, and develop practical solutions. Developing mathematical and statistical models of different scenarios and assessing the potential outcomes. Performing statistical tests to ensure the accuracy of the models. Advising Luminocity’s leadership teams on solutions and assisting in decision making. Assisting the CEO in allocating resources, developing production/project schedules, overseeing the supply chain, and planning Luminocity Festival schedules and ticketing strategy. Writing analysis reports and documents on the findings and recommendations and communicating the findings to stakeholders within the organization.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must have a master’s degree in business, mathematics, educational theory and policy, or related fields.
